Second Day in Guangzhou - Lovin' the Lazy Life!!

Have I mentioned how much we love it here??  This is the life!  The kiddos are relaxed.  Greyson is having TERRIFIC days!  I am almost caught up on laundry.  And, the convenience of close shopping tops it off!!

After breakfast, the first order of business was new shoes for Greyson!  We walked to Aeon, a five story department store with groceries.  It's like Meijer on steroids!  It did not disappoint!  We bought the 4 bigs umbrellas (for $3), since it rains everyday in this tropical climate.  We bought blow-up life jackets for Kaitlyn, Kristyn, and Greyson (for $5 each).  We found Mark's favorite treat, jelly-filled marshmallows!  We also found our favorite suckers, Chuppas!  Then, we headed to shoes.  I saw the price and thought, we need to get something.  Then, along came the sales person with her calculator (the way they tell and negotiate price), she showed me 168 RMB (down from 462), this is just under $30!  DONE!  They are cute and much bigger than his STINKY pair.  He was so proud of them.  He kept asking to put them on and go out so he could wear them.  He falls about 5 times during each trip we take.  After the new shoes... NOT ONCE!!  He is just amazing us, he is doing so well!  The prayers are definitely working!  He is settling in and such a sweetheart.

We came back and I met with our guide to get some paperwork ready.  By the time I finished, it was lunchtime.  Off to McDonalds.  The kiddos were excited to find a big table, just perfect for our whole family.  We then came back and played here for awhile.  Then, the rain let up and we put on our swimsuits.  The water was a little cold, and the temperature finally cooled down.  Oh well, they still enjoyed it!  This was the first time that Greyson had been in a pool.  Even with blue lips and teeth chattering, he still wanted to stay in.

Then, we headed to Subway for dinner and we got chocolate chip cookies for a treat.

Most importantly... WE GET OUR DAUGHTER TOMORROW!!!  At 3am your time, we will meet Kristyn.
